This hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been open since 1913. With fourteen stories, and in the French Second- Empire style, it is an impressive building. The hotel is close to the Pioneer Square and Chinese Gardens there are things to do and see all around you.

The rooms comes with such a host of extras that it is hard to tell you them all; so here are some, that do not come up on all hotels rooms lists; Hypo-allergenic bedding, extra towels and bedding in the room, Egyptian-cotton sheets, iPod docking station, multi-line phone, slippers and bathrobe.

As you would hope this hotel lobby is beautiful and grand yet manages to be warm and inviting. The rooms are in keeping with the French Empire style but this is blended with practicality and comfort.

This hotel is close to Willamette River. Here you have a restaurant, a Bistro, and a bar onsite. The rooms have a coffee maker and you get a free newspaper. All rooms have flat screen TV's with premium TV channels.

For your stay they also have bathrobes, for your use. There is room service available but they run on limited hours. You can use a nearby fitness centre for free, while you are here at the hotel. There is a very modern feel to the hotel and this is reflected in the lobby, being very modern.

The staff are really helpful and while you can go out to eat, here they have good food, you do not have to go far. So if you want a slightly smaller hotel that is just out of the full hustle and bustle of Downtown but near enough for you can join in, this is the place for you.
